Are you bothered by lines, wrinkles, or areas of your face that lack volume? Dermal fillers can smooth wrinkles, restore facial volume, or enhance and define your features. These injectable treatments come in many formulas, giving your expert injector options for achieving your goals.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable, biologically safe materials that add volume to your skin. They are used for many purposes, from lip fillers to those that restore lost volume. The most popular and widely used fillers are made of hyaluronic acid. This material attracts and holds moisture in the skin, providing natural-looking volume. We offer the Juvederm®, Restylane®, and RHA® families of fillers to address your concerns.
How Much Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal filler costs are difficult to estimate. The cost varies depending on several factors, including:
- Your location
- Your provider’s skill and experience
- The type of dermal filler
- The amount of filler needed
- The areas being treated
The average hyaluronic acid filler costs between $600 and $700 per syringe. You may need more than one syringe, depending on your needs. Other types of fillers are usually more expensive. Some fillers, such as those used for the cheeks and jawline, may cost slightly more than line, wrinkle, and lip fillers. Depending on the areas of your face you wish to treat, you may also need more than one type of filler.
What Can Dermal Fillers Treat?
Dermal fillers have many uses. The Juvederm®, Restylane®, and RHA® families of hyaluronic acid fillers can treat:
- Thin lips
- Loss of cheek volume
- Lack of jawline definition
- Hollowness
- Marionette lines
- Nasolabial folds
- Vertical lines around the lips
Each of these families contains several different formulas. Fillers used for the lips and around the mouth are usually more flexible and thinner than those used in areas like the cheeks. A consultation will help your expert injector determine the best filler options for your needs.

The results of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are visible immediately after your injections. They may look slightly swollen for the first day or two. The hyaluronic acid in these fillers draws moisture into your skin and holds it there, plumping and smoothing the skin.
Most of these dermal fillers last one to two years with good skincare. Lip fillers typically last up to a year, while fillers for the cheeks can last up to two years. Results will vary, so we will work with you to develop a schedule that maintains your smoother, more defined look.
Am I a Good Candidate for Dermal Fillers?
Most healthy adults make good candidates for dermal fillers. Good candidates have reasonable expectations and understand the risks and benefits. You might be a candidate for dermal fillers if you want to address concerns such as lines and wrinkles, loss of facial volume, or thin lips. You should not have any injectable treatment if you have an infection or active skin condition in the treatment area.
