The results of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are visible immediately after your injections. They may look slightly swollen for the first day or two. The hyaluronic acid in these fillers draws moisture into your skin and holds it there, plumping and smoothing the skin.
Most of these dermal fillers last one to two years with good skincare. Lip fillers typically last up to a year, while fillers for the cheeks can last up to two years. Results will vary, so we will work with you to develop a schedule that maintains your smoother, more defined look.
Am I a Good Candidate for Dermal Fillers?
Most healthy adults make good candidates for dermal fillers. Good candidates have reasonable expectations and understand the risks and benefits. You should not have any injectable treatment if you have an infection or active skin condition in the treatment area.
