Blepharoplasty Kalamazoo

Are your eyes looking puffy and tired? If so, you can rejuvenate your appearance with eyelid surgery, which can ensure you look alert and younger.

As we get older, the skin around our eyes can start to stretch and turn saggy, which can cause that dreaded droopy appearance. This can be virtually impossible to reverse naturally, yet there is another solution, and this is to have blepharoplasty, which is eyelid surgery.

What is a Blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty is eyelid lift surgery, which is a type of procedure that will correct any signs of aging around your eyes. This treatment can involve surgery on either the lower or the upper eyelids. In some cases, it can involve both. Excess fat and skin around this area are removed to ensure your appearance looks fresh and alert, rather than being tired.

Types of Blepharoplasty

There are two main types of blepharoplasty, which are as follows:

Upper Eyelid Lift

Firstly, we have upper eyelid lift surgery, which is beneficial for those who have puffiness, excess fat, or sagging skin on the upper lids.

Lower Eyelid Lift

If you have “bags” under your eyes or excess skin under your eyes, a lower eyelid lift will be suitable.

It is worth pointing out that you can have both types of eyelid lift surgery carried out, which is known as double eyelid surgery. A lot of people opt for this type of surgery so that they can look younger and experience the best possible results.
