How Does Forever Bare BBL™ Work?
Forever Bare BBL™ emits a broad spectrum of focused energy that selectively targets the melanin at the base of the hair follicle. Melanin is the pigment that gives hair its color. The light energy is converted into heat which injures the hair-producing center of the follicle. This prevents the follicle from growing hair in the future and results in permanent hair removal. The treated hair will fall out over the following weeks.
The Forever Bare BBL™ system has multiple spot size adapters that make it possible to treat very large areas quickly. It also has a large spot size, which contributes to fast treatment times.
The Forever Bare BBL™ is generally comfortable thanks to the thermoelectrically-cooled sapphire plate in the handpiece, which keeps the skin cool throughout treatment.
Am I A Good Candidate For Forever Bare BBL™?
If you are tired of shaving, waxing, or tweezing, and would like a long-lasting solution for unwanted hair, you may be a good candidate for laser hair removal. Forever Bare BBL™ is safe for most skin types up to type V. It works best on hair that is dark to medium in color because lighter hair is more difficult to treat.
How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?
The treatment time will vary depending on the size of the area. Treating the chin can take just a few minutes, but treating a larger area like the legs can take 15 minutes or more.
What Results Will I See?
Results after laser hair removal are not immediate because it takes about two weeks for the treated hair to fall out. Also, all the hair in the targeted area is not treated in a single session, because hair grows in cycles, and Forever Bare BBL™ can only treat hair when it is in the active growth phase. As a result, the hair will grow from the follicles that were not in the active growth phase during treatment. That is the reason why it can take between 6-8 hair removal sessions to get optimal results in one treatment area.
Laser hair removal provides permanent hair removal results because once the hair follicle is injured it can no longer grow hair.
Is There Any Downtime?
There is no downtime after laser hair removal so you can return to your normal routine immediately after treatment. The skin may be mildly red after the procedure, but this should resolve in a few days.
