JUVÉDERM® is an exciting family of dermal fillers that add volume to the skin to reduce wrinkles and folds, fill in sunken areas of the face, and plump the lips.
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC addresses age-related volume loss in the cheeks. It is injected deep into the tissues to add volume to sunken cheeks and lift the midface.
JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC and JUVÉDERM® XC can be used to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, particularly nasolabial folds or ‘smile lines’ around the nose and mouth.
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC are used for lip augmentation because they add volume to the lips. They also fill in perioral lines, which are the vertical lines around the mouth also referred to as ‘lipstick lines.’
JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is also approved for treating moderate to severe lines including nasolabial folds.
JUVÉDERM® Volux® is used to add volume and definition to the jawline, improving moderate to severe loss of definition in the jawline and chin.
SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® refreshes the skin with hyaluronic acid microdroplets. This deeply hydrating injection gives the cheeks an enhanced glow and notably smoother skin.
JUVÉDERM® is a cross-linked, hyaluronic-acid-based dermal filler that works by adding volume to fill in facial folds and creases. The main ingredient in JUVÉDERM® is modified hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and provides volume to the skin.
When JUVÉDERM® is injected beneath the skin the hyaluronic particles attract and retain water. This temporarily restores the support structure and the additional volume in the tissues fills in folds and wrinkles.
JUVÉDERM® can be used for overall facial rejuvenation because each product targets a different area of the skin.

JUVÉDERM® has several formulas to choose from, so during your consultation, Dr. Holley or one of our expert injectors will explain what can be achieved with the different products. This will include recommendations regarding the number of JUVÉDERM® injections you will need for each area.
JUVÉDERM® is a quick treatment that takes only about 15 minutes.
The treated areas look fuller immediately after treatment. The effects of JUVÉDERM® are temporary, lasting 6-18 months depending on the product and the area targeted.
There is usually no downtime after JUVÉDERM®. There may be some bruising and swelling in the treated areas, but this should not prevent you from resuming your regular activities. The swelling should resolve within 2-3 days.
